• KBK suspension Crane for Evers & Evers Glass

This KBK crane system has a modular design and is easily mounted under the existing roof construction, due to the relatively light construction of the crane.

Goals

Evers & Evers Glas manufactures, processes, supplies and installs glass solutions for offices, hotels, bathrooms and much more. In the workshop, glass panels are regularly moved to and from the cutting table. To ease this process, a suitable partner was sought for the delivery of a crane system. Evers & Evers Glas contacted us via the BKRS Crane Systems website. Subsequently, during the first meeting, the challenges at Evers & Evers Glas were immediately mapped out. It soon became clear that they were looking for a solution for the safe and ergonomic lifting, tilting and rotation of heavy glass panels. Also so that the employees no longer had to lift these products completely manually. By using a KBK hanging crane, the work is made easier. This in turn reduces the physical strain on the employees of Evers & Evers Glas.

Our solution

Characteristic of BKRS Crane Systems’ solutions is that they always fit in well with the specific wishes of the customer. This project is a good example of this for Evers & Evers Glas. For this project, BKRS supplied a KBK suspension crane with crane track. The crane track is the profile on both sides of the building, the wheels of the suspension crane run through this profile. The advantage of a KBK crane system is that it is modular and easy to install under the existing roof structure. This is because the construction of the KBK system is relatively light. So no complicated roof construction was required to install the crane system.

The crane system is modular, which also makes it possible to expand and/or adjust it in the future. The hanging crane was assembled on site by our technicians within two days. Due to the handable profile, it was relatively easy to assemble the construction with a forklift.

Why a KBK suspension Crane?

A KBK suspension Crane is easy to move by hand over both the length and width of the system. The crane is therefore the perfect solution when products weighing up to 1,000 kg need to be moved effortlessly by hand.

Always a tailor-made crane

At BKRS, all suspension cranes are designed, manufactured and assembled in-house. This brings convenience to your company, as you only have to maintain contact with a single party. Most of our crane systems are modular, which means that we connect longitudinal profiles of six or eight meters to each other. Hanging cranes are extremely suitable for halls with a low ceiling and halls where the ground space must be used optimally, including the workshop of Evers & Evers Glas.
