Ravestein BV, based in Deest, is a leading company in civil engineering and steel constructions. When they needed a new lifting solution, a powerful double girder gantry crane was essential to move heavy loads safely and efficiently. This led them to a search for a tailor-made solution that was specifically tailored to their requirements.
In collaboration with BKRS, a specialist in crane systems, a custom-made gantry crane was designed. This crane has an impressive capacity of 2 x 70 tonnes, combined with an auxiliary hoist of 5 ton. This enables Ravestein to move very heavy loads, even in challenging environments where reliability and precision are paramount.
The double girder gantry crane has a span of 42 meters and a lifting height of 22 meters, which provides maximum flexibility for large projects. These specifications allow the crane to be used effortlessly for tasks that require large and heavy objects to be moved accurately. The 5-tonne auxiliary lift also provides the possibility to lift smaller loads with the same precision and safety.
