Hoist units make your lifting task possible

Two major groups of hoisting units exist: chain hoists and steel wire hoists. Both chain hoists and steel wire hoists are available in a range of models. The choice is primarily based on the purpose for which the hoist units are used. One important selection criterium is the lifting capacity. Chain hoists are used for lifting capacities up to and over 5 tons. Steel wire hoists have a lifting capacity of up to 125 tons.

Application of hoist units

Different requirements apply to each lifting job, so a different lifting unit is needed. Hoisting units are therefore used in many different applications, such as in indoor workshops, a factory hall or laboratory, but hoisting units can also be found on pontoons or shipyards. BKRS customers use hoisting units in shipbuilding, the automotive industry, steel construction and steel trade, concrete construction, and tunnel construction, among others.

Options on hoist units

Everything is possible in the BKRS drawing office. Because the customer is central, an important step in the purchase of hoisting units is to be able to realize all wishes. To this end, our specialists work together with the customer, and we look at which options can be applied to meet their needs. Think, for example, of remote control.
